Power sign Australian Indigenous representative

PHILLIPS BANNER
Kirrily Phillips joins the club from AC Carina and links up with her former teammate in Vicky Lines as Alex Smith looks to bolster his defensive stocks.

The 33-year-old who represented the Indigenous Koalas will provide plenty of experience and leadership to a young group of budding talents.

The Coffs Harbour local is coming off the back of a QLD Indigenous Championship win with the side she founded, Jinda Magic.

She joins the club from AC Carina where she spent three years, making the BWPL Grand Final in 2021.

The right back will look to sure up Alex Smith's defence for the upcoming season.

"2022 is a very exciting time to be playing for Power.

"I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead and seeing accelerated footballing growth with Alex and the team."

Alex Smith cannot wait to see the impact that Kirrily will have on the side.

"Very excited to have Kirrily on board for 2022.

"I saw her play a few months ago and was immediately impressed.

"She is someone that will suit our football methodology and provide a wealth of experience to the squad.

"I am looking forward to working with her and watching her play at this level."
