Being a volunteer in the Performance Division can be a rewarding experience for members and families.
The Club relies on its volunteers to do the many jobs needed to ensure the competition runs smoothly and players needs are met throughout the year.
Included in your player registration in 2021 is a volunteer levy of $100. This ensures the Club can support key roles and functions.
Contribute as a registered volunteer over the course of the season to earn your volunteer levy back.
Earn10 volunteer points by the end of the year to qualify. Volunteer points will be given for taking on volunteer tasks or jobs managed by the Volunteer Coordinator.
Volunteers will be sourced in many ways, most commonly by
responding to requests from Team Managers.
This year, Performance volunteers will register through the Power
website and will receive requests managed through their Team Manager, or Club emails, or through Facebook. When we need help with an event or game,
an email will be forwarded to all registered volunteers (or team members when from
Managers). This will include details of what support is needed and for how long.
You can then choose to sign on for an activity that suits
you. Seeking assistance in this way ensures that the Club can keep track of our
volunteers and their contributions.

To get you started as a volunteer, there are a few things
you need to consider:
·
Register with Play Football as a Volunteer. This means that you are covered by Football Queensland insurance while volunteering.
· Respond to periodic requests for volunteers circulated via email or Facebook.
· Some volunteer jobs require that you hold a Blue Card issued by the Qld Government. Not all volunteer jobs carry this requirement.
