Daniel Cuttler signs from Sunshine Coast Wanderers

The 20-year-old attacker adds additional firepower to our premiership winning side.

Cuttler had a break out 2021 scoring 10 league goals and finishing as joint golden boot winner for a Sunshine Coast Wanderers that shocked the NPL with a surprise fifth placed finish.

The South African born youngster came up through the Sunshine Coast Fire system before moving to Brisbane with Moreton Bay United where he was then noticed by the Brisbane Roar where he'd go on to spend two years before moving to Brisbane City.

Whilst he was in Brisbane, Daniel won two GPS premierships with St Joseph's Nudgee College in 2016 and 2018 respectively.

Cuttler also spent time abroad in Wales studying and playing football with Cardiff Metropolitan before coming back to Australia in 2020.

Daniel will bring speed, ferocity and hunger to our frontline as he looks to grasp his opportunity with both hands.

"I believe the club, coaching staff and players will challenge and support me to reach the next level in my development as a footballer.

"I am grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to working hard and contributing to the team and this great club."

Cuttler will prove to be a versatile weapon for Aaron Philp and his coaching staff with the youngster's ability to play both through the middle and out wide.

"Daniel is fast, hard-working and hungry to succeed which is indicative of how we want our squad to look next year."
