TELL ME
ABOUT YOUR FOOTBALL CAREER, WHERE YOU STARTED AND WHAT YOU HAVE ACHIEVED.
I learnt to play football at 15yo with the Spanish community
here is Brisbane and fell in love with the game instantly. I previously played
for AC Carina in the BPL before taking a huge leap to play for, and now captain
at, Peninsula Power in the NPL.
I am the current captain for the Australian Indigenous Women’s
Football team- the Koala’s, playing and helping to build a legacy for my
Indigenous community to showcase their amazing footballing talent on the
national stage.
DESCRIBE
YOUR PLAYING STYLE. WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES?
I am a right full back. Although we are solid in building up
from the back and have one of the best defensive lines in the league, I enjoy
running the line and assisting the attacking play any chance I can. I scored 7
goals last season so I’m hoping to knock a few away this year.
I have no weaknesses.
DO YOU
HAVE ANY PREGAME ROUTINES OR SUPERSTITIONS?
I always get a good nights rest the night before a game and have
the music play list sorted for the ladies.
DESCRIBE
ONE OF YOUR UNFORGETTABLE FOOTBALL MOMENTS.
I have 2- Definitely scoring a header in the 2022 Koalas Vs
Wanderers match and being named the Pen Power Captain of the best team I’ve
ever played with.
WHO ARE
YOUR FOOTBALL HEROES?
Kyah Simon and Ellie Carpenter
WHAT ARE
YOUR INTERESTS AND HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF FOOTBALL?
Love hanging out with my three beautiful children. You will
usually find us at the beach or scoping out the newest playgrounds.
