Earwicker re-signs for 2022

George Earwicker has re-signed for Peninsula Power after becoming the club's youngest ever starter in an NPL Senior competitive game at just 17 years and 87 days old.

The 17-year-old creative midfielder spent his early developmental years with Gold Coast City FC before moving into the Brisbane Roar Academy and flourishing at St Joseph's Nudgee College in the GPS competition.

The English born midfielder is set for another year of development in red, white, and blue as he looks to build on what was a strong 2021 campaign.

“After the opportunities Peninsula Power has given to me over the last year at a young age, re-signing for this great club was a must in further developing my football career and contributing to another successful year for the club."

Senior Director of Football, Ben Ryan, is excited to see Lewis build on an impressive 2021.

"George has been outstanding in pre-season.

"If he keeps working hard and stays humble, he's got a chance in the game."
