American star re-signs for 2021

Peninsula Power are pleased to announce the re-signing of superstar American midfielder, Ali Schaefer.

During her time in her native homeland of the USA, Schaefer won seven consecutive state championships with the Las Vegas Speedsters.

She also went on to win four 'Big Ten' Titles at the Pennsylvania State University, a top ten nationally ranked collegiate program.

Following that, Schaefer began her international footballing journey playing two professional seasons in Sweden with Tierp IF, one in Finland with IK Myran, and one in Israel with Maccabi Krishnot Hadera, before eventually making her way to Australia.

Schaefer's had her first taste of Australian football as a key cog in our NPL Championship winning side before going on to spend years with Moreton Bay United and Capalaba FC where she would gain three team of the year selections thus far.

A truly versatile player who has a fantastic technical skillset as well as an infectious leadership quality, Schaefer will provide brilliant guidance for a young squad.
